One could say the new Diamante Golf course in Los Cabos may be the hands-down best golf course in all of Mexico. Spectacular, breathtaking, and challenging are well deserved adjectives for this golf course and the overall service and quality of the entire facility.

Recently opened in July 2009, the property is located amongst the sand dunes of the Pacific Ocean which let Davis Love create a golf course that feels like you are playing Bandon Dunes and Turnbury in Scotland at the same time. Amazing!

Playing Diamante Golf Course in Los Cabos is an experience, not just a simple round of golf.  The course fees include the use of a great practice area, a caddie, delicious breakfast, and stops during the round at comfort stations that serve hot snacks, drinks and then lunch when you are finished playing. Picture all of these services set over looking the golf course with miles of sand dunes and ocean as the backdrop. Breathtaking is best way to describe it!

Let's get some course specifics on Diamante Los Cabos:  the fairways are quite generous while the greens are large and undulating but with the wind blowing off the Pacific this is a real test of your golf ability!  With ratings of 75.4 / 146  from the 7300 yard back tees will give you the idea of the difficulty on this course .  There are so many spectacular holes on Diamante Los Cabos, its difficult to choose just one signature hole.  Having said that, the 17th which is a par five running along the dunes to a very elevated green would be a good choice! Alternatively, the short par three 16th with a crazy green that will keep you guessing. Or the 600 yard uphill par five 14th hole.  I could keep going :)

Note also that Diamante only allows approximately 60-70 players a day, so you aren't crammed together and rushed - like we've mentioned earlier, it really leads to a pleasant, tranquil experience.
